What about Bolsonaro?

In a editorial published by news site UOL Notíciasl, the journalist Reinaldo Azevedo said “the jail is the outcome of what the worst Rio politics has produced”. The journalist was commenting about Rio mayor arrest, nine days before the end of his term. He also said prision is the natural destiny of Rio politicians. Besides Crivella, Rafael Alves, right-hand man of the mayor, and a former delegate, Fernando Moraes.

The inquiry was about a bribe scheme in mayor office. Rafael is been pointed as head of the scheme, diverting campaign donations. Crivella, current Rio mayor, declared his the arrest is nothing more than political persecution, due to his actions against contractors and companies that ar linked to Carnival budget.

Bolsonaro’s main ally in Rio, Crivella said he just want that justice be made, to inforce his innocence. I personally share the same position of journalist Reinaldo. Politics in Rio de Janeiro is a hornet’s nest and whoever occupies positions that involve public budget execution is bound to find himself involved with the most dangerous subjects.

As Crivella, is possible that the president and his sons are involved as well in bribe schemes, as well with militias. Countless accusations were made against president sons, as against the president himself, about corruption schemes. We cannot prove that these charges are true just as Crivella’s are proving to be, but we believe in one thing Bolsonaro and Crivella reached: they made the worst term ever seen, also in presidency office as in the mayor office.

So, after the outcome of mayor Crivella’s term, should this be the natural outcome of the president in his term as well? There are many indications that show, in fact, Bolsonaro’s participation in corruption schemes, having this practice extended to the performance of his sons in public political office.

As in all my texts in this space, I will leave two reflections on the subject: Bolsonaro is or has been involved in corruption schemes; the jail will not be his destiny, since he became president, which prevents him from being arrested like Crivella, unless he is no longer in office (the tip is, STF).
